This English Regency style mantel is carved from statuary marble and inlaid with burgundy marble with gray and white veining. In the center of apron is a rectangular statuary marble motif of a cherub riding a lion, which is complemented by two watching statuary marble urn motifs positioned above each jamb. The mantel apron is inlaid with burgundy marble, framed by horizontal flutings at the top and bottom. The jambs mirror the apron, each featuring striking burgundy marble inlay framed with vertical flutings. The shelf is modestly carved with a single groove and a round edge.
