For Friday, this is one of my favorite family rooms/living room/dens photos from the past year. It has everything to make a weekend or a weekday very comfortable. It has great natural light, built-in bookshelves with lots of books, a lovely marble fireplace mantel with a nice 19th century oil landscape painting hanging above, and fresh flowerws.

We also have a large sofa, two comfortable looking arm chairs, and two hassocks, which could be used for seating or prop up your legs. The beautiful 19th century oriental rug on the floor makes the room warm looking and give it a more color. It blends in nicely with the chairs and the sofa.
